Gana Art Center

Gana Art Center is a gallery located in Pyeongchang-dong at the foot of Bukhansan Mountain, opened in 1983. Designed by world-renowned architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, it spans 850 pyeong with two floors and three main exhibition halls, along with auxiliary facilities such as an outdoor performance venue, academy hall, and craft hall.

Gana Art Center's exhibitions encompass a wide range of formats and genres, from solo invitation exhibitions to posthumous exhibitions of great masters and themed curated exhibitions. With a broad perspective that spans East and West and traverses past and present, it has realized unity and diversity through exhibitions of both ancient and contemporary art. In addition to exhibition planning and academy lectures, the center seeks to meet the increasingly diverse cultural desires of visitors by promoting interdisciplinary projects that connect exhibitions with other genres such as music, dance, theater, and mime.
