Why travelers stop here
Soejeomgol is the section from Hobbakso (Pumpkin Pool) in Eoreumgol (Ice Valley) past Ocheonpyeongbansuk to Seoknam Tunnel. The name Soejeomgol originated from the fact that horseshoes were sharpened here. It is also called Ocheonpyeongbansuk Valley due to the large flat rock called Ocheonpyeongbansuk in the middle. Trekking in Soejeomgol starts from Baegyeonsa Temple. Soejeomgol, stretching 4km, is a flat valley path that takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes round trip. Pass the cloud bridge at the Hobbakso fork, go via Ocheonpyeongbansuk, and head to the small park at the entrance of Seoknam Tunnel. The valley is relatively flat and long, with abundant water flow and few visitors. Especially because it is near Eoreumgol, it remains cool even in summer, making it a healing walking trail that is relatively easy for beginners. The autumn foliage path in Soejeomgol is particularly stunning, worthy of being added to a bucket list.<br>Address: 177 Eoreumgol-ro, Sannae-myeon, Miryang-si, Gyeongsangnam-do
