Gapo Yeongdo Grilled Eel Restaurant

Gapo Yeongdo Grilled Eel is a popular eel restaurant operating two locations: the main building where the sign is located upstairs, and a separate annex that looks like a pension. Previously, both had only floor seating; now, the main building has floor seating where you remove your shoes, while the annex has table seating where you keep your shoes on. The menu offers two types: salt-grilled and seasoned grilled eel. For meals, there are eel rice and noodles. Basic side dishes include fried eel bones, young radish water kimchi, salad, pickled vegetables, ssam-mu (pickled radish wraps), garlic, and ginger. The biggest charm of Gapo Yeongdo Grilled Eel is that the eel comes out grilled on a stone plate, cut into bite-sized pieces for convenient eating.
