Ganseok Free Market

Opened in 1970, Ganseok Free Market is a medium-sized traditional market in a mixed residential-commercial building, located near Ganseok Five-Way Intersection where Michuhol-gu and Namdong-gu meet. It combines an alley-style market with a roofed arcade, and about 130 stores are in operation. With heavy foot traffic, the market is always bustling, selling a variety of foods and daily necessities. The spicy chicken gangjeong featured on the TV program "Live Broadcast Today" is popular, and there are also many famous eateries such as jokbal, tteokbokki, and Hongdukkae kalguksu. It is a 7-minute walk from Ganseokogeori Station on Incheon Line 1.
