Gangneungdang Coffee Kongppang Anmok Beach Branch

Gangneungdang Coffee Kongppang Anmok Beach Branch is a cafe located at Anmok Beach in Gyeonso-dong, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do. It became famous for first creating coffee kongppang (coffee bean bread) in Gangneung and opened a branch at Anmok Beach. On the first floor, they sell coffee kongppang, coffee, and coffee jam, and on the second floor, you can sit and drink coffee while looking at the sea. Coffee kongppang is not sold individually but in sets of 5 or 10 pieces. The bread, which has a coffee aroma, is filled with red bean paste; the bread is soft and the red bean paste is not too sweet, making it a good match with coffee. Many people buy it as a souvenir of their visit to Gangneung, and nationwide delivery is available. Parking can be used for free at the Anmok Beach Street parking lot.
