Gangwon Peace Nuri-gil is a trekking and bicycle path that connects the border region from Ganghwa Island on the west coast, adjacent to North Korea, to Goseong on the east coast, running east-west. In particular, Gangwon Peace Nuri-gil passes through Cheorwon, Hwacheon, Yanggu, Inje, and Goseong, with a total length of 361.2km and 20 courses. Course Introduction: ‘Gangwon Peace Nuri-gil Course 6 Mireukbawi Rock Path’ is a course that passes through quiet rural roads and then cuts through downtown Hwacheon. As befits the expression ‘Land of Water, Hwacheon,’ you follow a path along the river and also stop by the Sancheoneo (mountain trout) Festival site. Mireukbawi Rock, where Hwacheon residents used to make wishes, is the endpoint of this course.
