Gangjin Art Hall is a public building in Gangjin County, opened on May 11, 2011, to contribute to enhancing the quality of life, including culture and welfare, for Gangjin residents. It is divided into Gangjin Art Hall and Gangjin Welfare Town. Gangjin Art Hall consists of two performance venues: a large performance hall (718 seats) and a small performance hall (174 seats). At the entrance of Gangjin Art Hall, there is an outdoor stage with 200 seats, where local cultural and artistic performances are held, fostering spontaneous community culture. Additionally, on the first floor of Gangjin Art Hall, there is an exhibition room (70 pyeong) and an art gallery (50 pyeong), which permanently display works by local and nationally renowned artists. Gangjin Welfare Center operates elderly care facilities and resident life culture classes, and the multipurpose room (100 seats) hosts various community gatherings. Thus, Gangjin Art Hall actively hosts performances, exhibitions, and local cultural and artistic classes, along with various community events and activities. Within about a 5-minute walk from Gangjin Art Hall, there is Yeongrang's Birthplace.
