Moon River

Known for its Korean herbal duck soup (hanbang ori baek-suk), Yangpyeong's Moon River is one of the three most famous baek-suk restaurants in Gyeonggi Province, along with Gapyeong Donggigan and Namyangju Gangbyeon Yeonga. The restaurant is housed in a converted log cabin that appears to be about 100 years old, offering a serene dining atmosphere. Its signature dish, the herbal duck soup, is renowned as a health food that provides both taste and nutrition. The secret to its flavor lies in fresh, healthy ingredients: only fresh ducks from the main supplier are used, and the duck is cooked with 13 herbal ingredients in a pressure cooker for one hour. Since cooking takes about an hour, it is recommended to make a reservation to avoid waiting. All side dishes are prepared in-house using only fresh domestic ingredients without any artificial seasonings, ensuring trustworthiness.
