Uiamho Lake is an artificial lake located in Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do, formed by the construction of Uiam Dam in the middle of the Bukhangang River. It was created in 1967 with the construction of Uiam Dam, which led to Chuncheon being called the 'City of Lakes.' Around the lake, there are several islands including Bungeo Island, Hajungdo, Sangjungdo, and Goguma Island, and various leisure activities such as canoeing on the Mullegil trail, cycling, and windsurfing are available. Additionally, nearby tourist attractions like Samaksan Mountain, Heungguksa Temple, and the Animation Museum draw many visitors throughout all four seasons.
