Chuncheon Geunhwa-dong Dangganjiju

This Dangganjiju (flagpole supports) in Geunhwa-dong, Chuncheon-si, stands in its original location facing east and west in their original form. The supports are simple with no decorations on the inner and outer surfaces. These plain, unadorned supports stand on a two-tiered high base, with slightly softened edges to show decorative design. Near the top, a bow-shaped line descends from the inside to the outside, which is not clearly visible from the outside, but when viewed from the front or back, a circular line corresponding to about one-quarter of the outer top part is faintly visible.
