Dongjak Dancing Day Festival

2025 Dongjak Dancing Day Festival is the second edition of Dongjak-gu's representative festival, following last year. Under the slogan 'The most Seoul-like day to enjoy K-Dance, our D-day for everyone', it promises a special day where people of all ages and genders unite through dance, and is expected to be an energetic and exciting urban dance festival. The citizen-participatory program includes official and free participant performances, and the dance competition DDD Contest, featuring various dance genres such as K-POP, street dance, hip-hop, swing dance, ballet, and line dance. Additionally, a K-POP random play dance and a performance by Chung-Ang University cheering squad Hurrah-C are planned to elevate the festival atmosphere. Special invited performances include a generation-connecting sing-along concert by ongoing K-POP legend Lee Jae-hoon (Cool), a performance by Korea's top dance team HolyBang (leader Honey J), and a performance by the male duo Norazo, who deliver unconventional performances, adding to the heat of the dance festival. Side events include a live relay dance CAM event where citizens can enjoy dancing together, dance experience sessions to learn various dance genres, the DDD Art Market for creativity and fun, a 'Flea Market' matching the dance festival, and a food zone.
