Jeongam Beach

Jeongam Beach, located in Jeongam 1-ri, Ganghyeon-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do, sits along National Route 7. A walking trail and a dedicated bicycle path run along the beach. The beach consists of soft sand interspersed with pebbles, and the water is clean with a gentle slope, making it popular with families. There are cafes with a good view of the sea right in front of the beach. Behind the sandy beach, there is a pine forest where camping is also possible. During the summer vacation season, a local women's association runs a food stall and a farm produce sales stand on one side of the beach. The women's association restaurant offers dishes such as native chicken, potato pancakes, and acorn jelly. Nearby attractions include Naksansa Temple, Hujin Port, and Mulchi Port.
