Jamgok Reservoir is an agricultural reservoir that began construction in 1992 and was completed in 2003. With a storage capacity of 4.37 million tons and a benefited area of 824 hectares, it supplies water to the Jamgok-ri, Sagok-ri, Yukdan-ri, Wasu-ri, Unjang-ri, and Yongyang-ri areas of Cheorwon-gun. Located between Daeseongsan and Gwangdeoksan, it is also called 'Naeho Lake' (Silkworm Lake) in addition to 'Jamgok,' a place name derived from the mountain at the village entrance that resembles a silkworm.
