Geumgang Park Eco Studio

Geumgang Park, located on a hill overlooking the Donggang River, was reborn as an Eco Studio in 2020. This place, where various historical and cultural resources of Yeongwol come together, features an outdoor stage, a tree garden, an eco playground, and the Radio Star Museum. Among these, the Sound Hug, situated in the center of the park, is particularly eye-catching; it is not a simple sculpture but a giant speaker that actually plays music. The Sound Hug contains six carefully selected popular songs, from K-pop to ballads and trot, so that all generations can enjoy them together. Entering the giant speaker and listening to music that fills the park is a special memory that can only be experienced at Geumgang Park Eco Studio. In addition, when you climb Geumgangjeong, a pavilion with a hipped-and-gabled roof built in the early Joseon Dynasty, the Donggang River flows below, and Gyejoksan and Taehwasan Mountains offer a picturesque view in front.
