Jeongdongjin Sculpture Park

Jeongdongjin Sculpture Park is a private park located within the Sun Cruise Resort. It offers a panoramic view of the East Sea, as well as the beach, train station, and coastal road. Approximately 20 works by 10 sculptors, including Choi Ok-young, Won In-jong, and Kim Hee-kyung, are exhibited. The Jangseung Park, which opened in June 2000, features 230 totem poles (jangseung) crafted by sculptor Kim Jong-heung from Andong Hahoe Village, including the Tongil Daejanggun (Unification General), Haedoi Daejanggun (Sunrise General), and Deuknam Yeojanggun (Son-Bearing Female General). Photo spots such as the Hand of Blessing and Sky Stairs are well established, attracting many couples and families visiting Jeongdongjin.
