Why travelers stop here
Mekong Sky is a Vietnamese restaurant located near the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Office. The broth for Mekong Sky's pho is made with 24kg of beef brisket, 8kg of beef bones, 6 old chickens, lemongrass, galangal, Chinese chives, and various vegetables and medicinal herbs for 130 bowls. The beef bones and old chickens are simmered for over 15 hours, and the meat is then boiled in the broth for another 3 hours or more. Instead of using concentrates, spice mixes, or MSG commonly used in regular restaurants, it is made with natural ingredients, allowing you to enjoy a rich and flavorful broth. The noodles are made from 100% rice flour without any wheat flour, making them easy to digest and well-suited to the broth. The menu includes beef pho and oxtail pho made with the deeply simmered broth, as well as bun cha, which goes well with mixed rice noodles. You can add extra noodles and broth to the soup pho, and enjoy a variety of Vietnamese dishes such as nasi goreng, fried dumplings, spring rolls, special rolls, and pineapple fried rice. The banh mi bread, baked fresh in-house, is sold in limited quantities and is savory and delicious.
