Andong Banjeom

Andong Banjeom Chinese restaurant is located behind the Seongbuk Disability Independence Center, near Exit 4 of Bomun Station on Line 6. The single-story old building reveals that it is an old establishment that has endured for 60 years. Reservations are not accepted, so there is often a waiting line. The signature menu items are tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) and japchae-bap (mixed vegetables with rice), which comes with fried rice instead of white rice and a bowl of jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) broth. The tangsuyuk coating is crispy, and the sauce includes cabbage as a distinctive feature. Other popular menu items include jjajangmyeon (noodles with black bean sauce), samseon jjamppong (seafood noodle soup), and gunmandu (pan-fried dumplings).
