Why travelers stop here
Chinese restaurant Gongpu is located near Sungshin Women's University, Exit 2 of Bomun Station on Line 6 and Ui Sinseol Line. The restaurant does not have many seats, so you may have to wait for two or three groups before entering. Once inside, orders and payments are made using a tablet placed on the table. Side dishes such as onions, pickled radish, and cabbage pickles are available at a self-service corner, so you can eat as much as you like. The signature menu item is the beef brisket jjamppong, which can be ordered with rice or noodles. A special feature is that a half-cooked fried egg is placed on top of the jjamppong as a garnish, and the rice is served as fried rice. Sweet and sour pork, yurin chicken, jajangmyeon, and the side menu item fried egg are also popular dishes. Samseon Park and Seongbukcheon Fountain Plaza are nearby, so you can take a light walk after your meal.
