Pyeongnaeok

This is a restaurant specializing in North Korean cuisine that started in 1950. Popular menu items include chogyetang (cold chicken noodle soup), which features cold chicken and buckwheat noodles in a refreshing broth topped with vegetables such as young cabbage, cabbage, dried jujubes, and radish, as well as nokdu jijim (mung bean pancake). Shredded boiled chicken mixed with cucumber in a tangy dressing, served as a basic side dish, is also a delicacy that attracts many visitors. Other popular dishes include yukgaejang (spicy beef soup) and bulgogi.
