Former Incheon Branch of the 58th Bank of Japan

This building served as the Incheon branch of the 58th Bank, which had its headquarters in Osaka, Japan. It was established for financial activities in Joseon during the Japanese colonial period. Later, it merged with several other banks and was renamed Yasuda Bank. After Korea's liberation, it was used as the Incheon branch of the Chohung Bank, but in 1958, when Chohung Bank built a new building and moved, this building was utilized as the Gyeonggi Province branch of the Korean Red Cross. Currently, it is used as an office for a restaurant association. The building is two stories high and features a rare balcony and roof windows. In particular, its double-sloped roof structure evokes a French atmosphere, and overall, it has a unique exterior following the Renaissance style. Due to these architectural values, it holds high preservation value as a modern architectural heritage.
