[Ganghwa Nadeulgil] Course 11 (Seokmodo Baram-gil)

Starting from Seokmodo Island and entering the embankment road, Ganghwa Nadeulgil Course 11 passes by Minmeoru Beach and ascends into the mountains, revealing a beautiful view of the West Sea. This course is also called 'Baram-gil' (Wind Road), and true to its name, it is very windy. Most of the path is along the seaside, and as you walk with the wind, you will encounter Eoryujeonghang Port, known for its beautiful sunrise. Eoryujeonghang is located at the point where the beach road turns into a mountain path. The dike road along the sea is quite long, and Seokmodo is a rare place where you can see both sunrise and sunset. The scenery of the tidal flats and the sea is beautiful, and there are no shops along the entire course, so it is advisable to bring water in advance. Restrooms are limited to portable toilets near the salt pans, which may be inconvenient. At the end of the course, you can see the Rock-carved Seated Buddha at Bomunsa Temple, one of Korea's three major Avalokitesvara prayer sanctuaries. Upon arriving at Bomunsa Temple, there are restaurants and convenience facilities. You can take a bus back to the ferry terminal.
