Jangheung Natural Recreation Forest

While most recreation forests are operated by the national government, Jangheung Natural Recreation Forest is an Art Valley operated by Crown Confectionery. It is a place where visitors can view a sculpture exhibition of dog figures using a drive-through method, the first of its kind in the world, across a vast site. Developed as a comprehensive cultural and arts theme park on 33,000㎡ of land, visitors can drive around to see the sculptures placed throughout the outdoor area. Jangheung Natural Recreation Forest is also the venue for the Yangju Snow Flower Festival in winter. The Yangju Snow Flower Festival is a winter festival held at Art Valley, a comprehensive arts theme park operated by the confectionery group Crown Haitai. The Snow Flower Festival, which conveys gratitude, love, and dreams through pure white snow, takes place in the Art Valley area, considered one of the finest natural landscapes in Yangju. The festival features a snow sledding area with a 200m slope, the longest in the Gyeonggi region, and the only 'line-up sledding hill' in Korea, along with a children's snow sledding area, a toddler snow sledding area, and an ice sledding area.
