A reservoir located in Sangjeok-dong, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. Construction began in 1954 and was completed in 1958. There is a dedicated bicycle path around Daewang Reservoir, where you can see cyclists, and it is also a good driving course. In spring, cherry blossoms and forsythias bloom around the reservoir, creating a spectacular view, and the nearby Cheonggyesan Mountain offers beautiful scenery. Daewang Reservoir was designated as a no-fishing zone in 2003.
