Anyang Jungang Market Gopchang Alley

Located inside the Jungang Market, a traditional market representative of Anyang that opened in the 1960s, Sundae Gopchang Alley is a famous spot in Anyang where housewives out to buy evening groceries or passersby often stop by. Having maintained its presence in one alley of the market for over 35 years, Gopchang Alley is filled with the savory aroma from about 30 sundae and gopchang restaurants. All of them sell sundae gopchang—stir-fried sundae, pork intestines, glass noodles, cabbage, and perilla leaves in a spicy seasoning—at affordable prices, but each has a slightly different taste because they use their own secret recipes for the seasoning.
