Bandal Park

Located in Yeongtong-gu, Suwon Special City, Bandal Park was created as part of the Green Rainwater Infrastructure project. To improve the water cycle distortion caused by increased impervious surfaces due to urban development, LID (Low Impact Development) facilities have been installed to reduce rainfall runoff and pollutant loads. Therefore, in Bandal Park, you can see facilities such as special permeable pavement, bioretention areas, and vegetated swales that are not found in other parks. The park has well-maintained walking paths. Additionally, metasequoia trees are planted on both sides of the road leading to the center of the park, making it pleasant to walk along this path. There are also exercise equipment and a basketball court, making it a good place for light exercise.
