Yeongheung Forest Park

Yeongheung Park, spanning 180,000 pyeong, was reborn as 'Yeongheung Forest Park' under the Special Act on Private Development Parks as the sunset system approached after its designation. The neglected forest, now embracing an arboretum, has become a representative park of Suwon leading forest and garden culture. Through the Cloud Ridge Trail, visitors can enjoy the forest and the entire park in a three-dimensional circulation system. In the 'Forest with a Story,' youth grow together and cultivate a love for life. At Yeongtong Street Park, Youth Experience Forest, Visitor Center, and Doran Madang, visitors can experience life-friendly parks and garden culture. As its name suggests, Yeongheung Forest Park will become a leading model of citizen-participatory parks in Suwon, a future forest nurtured by citizens and endlessly growing, the Millennium Tree Garden (千年樹園).
