Why travelers stop here
Located in the Icheon Hot Spring District, Icheon Seolbong Oncheon Land is a famous hot spring resort known for its 600-year-old medicinal hot springs, which were visited by King Sejong the Great and King Sejo of the Joseon Dynasty. Renowned for its high-quality water, the hot springs attract not only local residents but also travelers from other regions. Icheon Seolbong Oncheon Land is largely divided into a sauna & jjimjilbang (Korean-style sauna) for enjoying the hot springs and a family bath for private use. The four-story building houses a women's bath on the first floor, convenience facilities such as a jjimjilbang and restaurant on the second floor, a men's bath on the third floor, and a family bath and a mini pool with a slide on the fourth floor. The pool is an outdoor facility and operates only during the summer season. In particular, the family bath offers rooms for two and four people, and is so popular that reservations are highly competitive on weekends. The jjimjilbang has a snack bar for simple snacks and a restaurant for meals, along with entertainment facilities such as a game room and karaoke, as well as convenience facilities like a massage room. Within walking distance are Aeryeonjeong Pavilion and Anheungji Pond, making it a great place to visit together for a stroll when the lotus flowers are in bloom. It is about a 4-minute drive from Icheon Station on the Gyeonggang Line, and about a 10-minute walk (658m) from Icheon Terminal. Nearby attractions include Seolbong Park (Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum, Icheon City Museum, Icheon City Woljeon Museum of Art, Seolbong International Sculpture Park, etc.), Sagimakgol Pottery Village, Yes Park, Seongho Lake Lotus Complex, Hantaek Botanical Garden, Jisan Forest Resort Ski Resort, Icheon Termeden, and Deokpyeong Dinosaur Arboretum.
