Jangchon Village Agricultural Cooperative

Jangchon Village Agricultural Cooperative Corporation, established with residents as shareholder members, aims to be a resident community village. It has created a 'community farm' where residents can jointly cultivate and process crops and operate experience facilities. This is part of the 'Rural Village Community Farm Creation Project' to strengthen the capabilities of aging rural residents and create stable jobs and income using village resources. The community farm consists of a 'mountain-type farm' that produces agricultural products such as kimchi vegetables, shiitake mushrooms, and wild greens, and offers experiences, and a 'farm-type cafe' that showcases menus or products developed based on these and offers programs. Residents operate the community farm divided into three sections: production, experience, and cafe, developing and commercializing beverage and dessert menus using agricultural products produced in the village. They provide menus using directly cultivated agricultural products such as one-bite ssambap lunchbox, wild greens hansang rice table, potato croquettes, salad bread, and Suyanghongdo tea, and offer village garden experiences and agricultural product experiences.
