Why travelers stop here
Paldang Station began operations as a regular station on April 1, 1939. It is a rare rectangular station building in Korea, built in a straight line along the platform, giving it unique value. The exterior of the building is relatively well-preserved, and the interior space uses the front as a waiting room and the rear as offices and a staff dormitory. Although the interior space has been somewhat modified, the main structural materials remain intact, making it an important resource for understanding railway station architecture of the time.
