Paldang Chogyeguksu Main Branch

Paldang Chogyeguksu is a specialty restaurant for chogyeguksu (cold chicken noodle soup) located in Paldang-ri, Wabu-eup, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is a famous restaurant introduced multiple times on TV programs, and is especially popular among cyclists, with a separate bicycle parking lot in addition to a car parking lot. Pets are allowed. The signature menu is chogyeguksu, which is made by chilling chicken broth and seasoning it with vinegar and mustard. It is generous in portion and refreshing, making it particularly popular in summer. Other menu items include chogyebibimguksu (spicy mixed cold noodles with chicken), ongye-kalguksu (warm chicken noodle soup), deulkkae-kalguksu (perilla seed noodle soup), and eolkeun haemul-kalguksu (spicy seafood noodle soup). Side dishes include dotori jeonbyeong (acorn pancake), king mandu (large dumplings), and jumeokbap (rice balls). The only banchan (side dish) is geotjeori (fresh kimchi), which can be taken as desired from a small jar on the table. The restaurant is spacious and parking is convenient.
