Additionally, various sports facilities such as an inline skating rink, foot volleyball court, basketball court, and gateball court are available. Hwarang Lake is home to reeds, water hyacinths, and lotus flowers, allowing for observation of aquatic plants, and in spring, cherry blossoms fully bloom, making it a popular cherry blossom spot. At Danwon Pavilion on Hwarang Lake, a New Year's bell-ringing event is held every year.
