Gapyeong Nutritious Pine Nut Village

Gapyeong's specialty pine nuts were presented to the king during the Joseon Dynasty and have been widely known as a local specialty of Gapyeong since ancient times. Gapyeong Nutritious Pine Nut Village is located in Haenghyeon 1-ri, Sang-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, on the west side of Jojongcheon Stream. The surrounding natural ecological environment is well preserved, and the area around the Morning Calm Arboretum and the arboretum offers abundant food, sights, and nature experience activities. It is conveniently accessible for urban residents via National Routes 46 and 47 from Seoul and the metropolitan area.
