Located in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Beopanjjeongsa Temple is a large, modern urban temple built in 1989 on a religious site within the Seoul Mok-dong apartment complex to commemorate the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France. Situated in the city center, it is easily accessible by public transportation. The temple consists of four floors and, thanks to its modern construction, exudes a grandeur distinct from traditional temples.
