Suwon Sports Culture Center

Suwon Sports Culture Center is a building with two basement floors and four above-ground floors. Its detailed programs include swimming (with 8 lanes, a children's pool, and an outdoor pool), health club with over 50 latest exercise machines and 15 treadmills, aerobics, ballet, and other lifestyle sports programs, as well as various social education programs targeting from adults to infants. It also serves as a space for local residents' participation and autonomy through programs such as children's environmental classes, consumer education, and family ecological trips. These programs are designed not just as simple hobbies but to develop one's abilities and improve quality of life. A unique feature of Suwon Sports Culture Center is that lifestyle sports and social education can be used in a one-stop manner, and unlike institutions operated by the government, it is run by the civic organization YWCA, so programs are operated in line with a spirit that pursues not only functionality but also life movement and community movement.
