Why travelers stop here
Jangsuchon Sundubu Barley Rice is a place where you can enjoy healthy Korean cuisine in a cozy traditional hanok-style atmosphere. The signature menu is the Jangsuchon set meal, which includes beef bulgogi, stir-fried pork, deodeok salad, ssam (wraps), freshwater snails, sundubu (soft tofu), 14 side dishes, doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew), and barley rice. The sundubu here is fluffy and savory, with an excellent taste, and the doenjang jjigae has a rich, homemade soybean paste flavor. All ingredients used in dishes such as stir-fried pork, beef bulgogi, deodeok salad, and freshwater snails are fresh, and the side dishes are not overly seasoned but clean and neat. Namul (seasoned vegetables) and ssam vegetables are available unlimited from the self-service bar. In addition, various other menus are prepared, such as beef bulgogi and freshwater snail ssam rice, stir-fried pork and freshwater snail ssam rice, and aged kimchi pork rib hot pot. Especially, the potato pancake uses shredded potatoes, giving it a crispy texture that is excellent, making it a must-order menu.
