It is run by the owner, a ginseng digger (simmani). 'Eoinmani' is a term used among ginseng diggers to refer to an older, experienced person. You can choose between the spicy flavor or the half chicken soup (ban-gyetang). The spicy samgyetang has a spicy taste similar to eel soup (chueotang). The half chicken soup does not contain glutinous rice, and a bowl of rice is served separately. The samgyetang is boiled with various medicinal herbs, making it a good restorative food. Natural wild ginseng is sold, and free tea is provided—tea good for men and tea good for women. The young radish kimchi (chonggak kimchi) served as a side dish is popular and is sold separately.
