Why travelers stop here
Dongtan Jangsuchon is a Korean herbal nurungji (scorched rice) baek-suk (boiled chicken or duck soup) specialty restaurant located in the Dongtan villa area of Hwaseong City. It offers nurungji baek-suk made with chicken and duck as main ingredients, and also has a spicy stir-fried soup menu for visitors who prefer spicy flavors. Since all menu items require cooking time, it is recommended to make a reservation before visiting. If you make a reservation, the preparation is done in advance, making it convenient. The food is cooked and served, not boiled at the table. You can also add jaeban noodles or buckwheat pancakes as side dishes to enjoy with the nurungji baek-suk. The interior has both standing and sitting table options. For family dining, if you have children, you can use the sitting table. The side dishes are clean and delicious, including fresh kimchi, pickled vegetables, and fresh cucumbers. Parking is available in the parking area on the side street in front of the restaurant.
