Giwa Gol

Giwa Gol is a hanok restaurant located near the National Arboretum in Pocheon-si. It is a hanok over 100 years old, used as a restaurant while preserving its old appearance as much as possible, giving it a warm and classic atmosphere. The main menu is duck baked in mud, where glutinous rice and nuts are stuffed inside the duck, and the outside is coated with mud before baking. The duck dish is only available with a reservation, so it must be booked in advance. Grilled beef ribs or pork ribs can be eaten without a reservation, and many customers visit just to eat the ribs. The ribs can be eaten after an initial grilling or grilled from scratch at the table. Parking is convenient in the dedicated parking lot. Since it is near the Gwangneung National Arboretum, you can explore the arboretum before or after your meal.
