Icheon Eomji Jangsu Village is a braised chicken specialty restaurant located in Majang-myeon, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. Old antiques are displayed inside and outside the restaurant. The signature menu is Nurungji (scorched rice) Native Chicken Baek-suk (braised chicken). Only fresh native chickens are selected and aged in jars with rice straw before cooking. The Nurungji Baek-suk is served with chicken and scorched rice porridge separately. The braised chicken includes large abalones according to the number of people. The herbal scent is not strong but subtle. The scorched rice chicken porridge is topped with chewy scorched rice. The plate noodles have a sweet and sour seasoning that goes well with the chicken meat. The restaurant is large, making it suitable for group gatherings. Due to the nature of the menu, cooking time is long, so it is better to visit after making a reservation. It is a safe restaurant certified by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. Within 2km is the Starlight Garden Space Theme Park, within 3km are Deokpyeong Dinosaur Arboretum and Lotte Premium Outlet, and within 10km are Seolbong Park, Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum, and Yongdam Reservoir. There are also many golf courses nearby.
