Yukilhan Ugeoji Jangteo Gukbap

Yukilhan Ugeoji Jangteo Gukbap is a Korean beef soup restaurant located in Gangcheon-myeon, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is a standalone building with a well-decorated spacious garden. From the entrance, it is filled with the nostalgic atmosphere of an old movie theater, and the interior walls are adorned with vintage movie posters and election posters. From the water jugs on the tables to various retro props, there is plenty to see. The Korean beef ugeoji gukbap is made solely with broth made by simmering selected Korean beef bones in a cast iron cauldron. Although it is a clear soup with a soybean paste base, it has a refreshing and slightly spicy taste. The generous amount of ugeoji (cabbage greens) gives it a clean, non-greasy flavor. As a side dish, boiled bracken fern is served separately; adding it to the soup enhances the flavor with the aroma of bracken. Within 3 km, there are the Aquatic Wildflower Complex, Gapdol-i Gapsoon-i Theme Park, Yeonyang-dong Park, Yeoju Silleuksa Temple, Dalmatgi Square, and Geumeunmorae River Park.
