Nakji Island

Nakji Island is a small octopus restaurant located in Seoksu-dong, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. At Nakji Island, to preserve the tenderness of domestic live small octopus, no additional tenderizing process is performed, maintaining the natural chewy texture and fresh taste when alive. The signature menu, Nakji Jeong-sik, allows you to enjoy stir-fried small octopus, Jeju Island blue crab soy sauce marinated crab, and dried salted yellow croaker all together. The small octopus is plump, not very spicy, and stir-fried with a smoky flavor, making it delicious. The portion of small octopus is generous and the texture is soft. Served on a hot plate, it stays warm for a long time. The soy sauce marinated crab made with Jeju Island blue crab is not fishy, with a balanced sweetness and saltiness, offering a savory taste. The crab meat is also chewy, providing a good texture. The side dishes are neatly served in brassware, and kimchi and other side dishes not included in the basic table setting are available at the self-service corner.
