Why travelers stop here
This is a kudzu root naengmyeon (cold noodle) restaurant in Sammaksa Matgeori Village, which started in 1993. Located at the entrance of the hiking trail leading up to Gwanaksan Mountain, it is a naengmyeon restaurant frequented not only by visiting customers but also by many hikers. The broth, seasoning sauce, and dumplings for the naengmyeon are all made in-house. In naengmyeon, the texture of the noodles is as important as the taste of the broth and the bibim sauce. At Sammak Arrowroot Naengmyeon, the chewy noodles allow the broth and seasoning to coat well, providing a more refreshing taste when eaten. The handmade king dumplings, generously filled and with just the right amount of juice, are as popular as the naengmyeon. While constructing the building, a cafe with a good view was created on the third floor and is operated together; a 10% discount is offered with a meal receipt. Pets are allowed, and dining is possible at outdoor tables. ※ Pets allowed
