Mabushi

Mabushi means 'to fill a bowl with food,' and true to its name, it is a place where dishes are cooked right in front of guests upon order, using a method that brings out the natural flavors of seasonal ingredients. You can enjoy a hearty Korean table setting made by artisans in the traditional way, savoring it once with your eyes and once with your mouth. Carefully selected vegetables, fish, and meat from all over the country are inspected and prepared daily, and all food is made with broth brewed fresh every morning, offering a rich flavor. Additionally, rice is cooked only with high-quality, recently milled rice, and small batches are frequently prepared to serve it in the best condition, ensuring safe and trustworthy dining. Mabushi's signature dishes include 'Hitsumabushi,' a local specialty from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, and 'Special Kaisendon,' a Hokkaido-style rice bowl topped with uni, abalone, and fresh seasonal seafood, known as Morikomu Special. Other offerings include Nikku On Udon, a warm Sanuki udon, and Unagi Reimen, cold soba topped with freshwater eel grilled three times over charcoal with a special soy sauce glaze.
