Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
You can taste tofu dishes made with domestic soybeans. The signature menu is the Kongirang Set, which allows you to enjoy Tofu Kimchi Bossam, Pork Bulgogi, Biji Jjigae, and Cheonggukjang all at once. The soybeans used to make the tofu are domestic white beans directly harvested from Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The tofu is made fresh every day from early morning, using natural bittern as a coagulant, so it is safe even for babies. Dishes include Tofu Mushroom Jeon (pan-fried) made with firm tofu and mushrooms, spicy soft tofu stew made without defoaming agents, savory Biji Jjigae, and summer specialty Kongguksu (noodles in cold soybean soup), all high-protein, low-calorie nutritious meals.
