Cheongdeokwon

Cheongdeokwon is a duck specialty restaurant located near Yul-dong Park in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province. This establishment has won the grand prize twice in local food competitions. It is famous for its sulfur duck clay pot roast, where glutinous rice and medicinal herbs are stuffed into the duck, which is then baked in clay for about three hours, resulting in minimal moisture loss and tender meat. The duck clay pot roast requires advance preparation and is a reservation-only menu item; it cannot be tasted without a reservation. Another specialty, the octopus abalone ribs, was featured on KBS 2TV's 'Fresh Information' episode 1,405.
