Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
Guam Makguksu is a buckwheat noodle specialty restaurant where you can fully enjoy the aroma of buckwheat. There are three types of makguksu: water, mixed, and raw fish. There are also bossam, buckwheat pancakes, and whole dumplings that taste even better when eaten with makguksu. The yeolmu kimchi served as a side dish is delicious, and the diced apple inside the baechu kimchi that comes with bossam enhances the flavor of the bossam. Located on Bukhangangbyeon-gil in Daeseong-ri, it is a great place to visit on the way to Gapyeong for a drive. Many families visit, and there is also a separate baby makguksu menu available.
