The_Shim

A small admission fee includes a cup of coffee or a beverage. With Paldang Lake as its front yard, the vast garden like an arboretum offers various trees and wildflowers that display different colors each season. From the cafe, you can see two suns and moons rising across the lake and on the lake itself. A small path leads into the wooded hill next to the cafe, and there is a winding 1km walking trail. This is a gallery cafe run by artist Kim Jeong-sik, who creates various works such as paintings, accessories, and furniture using hanji (Korean traditional paper).
