It is a reservoir formed by the confluence of the Namhan River, Bukhan River, and Gyeongan Stream, created by the construction of a dam in 1973. In the past, it was a hub for logistics and trade, and it supplies water to 27 million residents of the Seoul metropolitan area. Today, it serves as a popular relaxation space for metropolitan residents, offering beautiful natural scenery where mountains and water harmonize.
