Why travelers stop here
Suyang Farm Garden is a black goat specialty restaurant located in Suyang-ri, Gonjiam-eup, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. Established in 1993, this restaurant has been certified as a '100-Year-Old Store' by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and has been operating a farm and restaurant together for three generations. The building, divided into a main hall and an annex, has a spacious parking lot in front for convenient parking. The interior is structured like a home, with various rooms and tables to accommodate large groups. The signature dishes are charcoal-grilled raw meat and black goat hot pot made from the highest-grade black goats raised on the farm. Additionally, you can enjoy the deep and rich flavor of beef bone broth simmered continuously for 48 hours over a wood fire in a cast iron cauldron, and purchase black goat extract made by boiling down black goats. Selected as the first black goat demonstration breeding farm in Gyeonggi-do, it contributes to the improvement and distribution of black goat breeds through technical cooperation with Konkuk University and the Agricultural Technology Center, promoting black goat meat widely.
