Galchi Reservoir is a reservoir created in 1984 to supply agricultural water, located in Sokdal-dong, Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do. The benefited area is 493,000m², the full water surface area is 86,000m², and the water depth is about 8m. It is situated near Beombatgol, a valley of Mt. Surisan. The fields in this area were once abundant with reeds, so the place was called 'Galti' or 'Galchi', and the reservoir was named after that place name. Among anglers, it is also called Sokdalji. However, fishing is currently not allowed here.
